Alabama Attorney General Troy King, a conservative Republican Christian who has called homosexuality the ‘downfall of society,’ has been caught with his pants down-literally-in a gay sex scandal. King was reportedly nabbed having sex with a male assistant by his wife, Paige King, in the couple’ own bed. It is amazing – the more one condemns homosexuality, the more likely one is to be gay. It is a telltale sign, like freedom rings.
Such tragic stories show why it is so important to come out of the closet. The alternative is living a life of pain and denial. On Monday, I head to North Carolina to speak out against the “ex-gay” Exodus International conference. Exodus says they have more than 700 people already signed up.
Most of these people will realize they are being duped and walk away. Others will suffer for few years before they realize they have wasted time and money. Then, there will be the ones who remain and decide to live like Troy King. When I think of the Exodus conference, I think of Troy Kings in training.
How does this help the family?

How many more times does this exact situation have to happen before people get a clue??
Being smart is a curse sometimes.
“It is amazing – the more one condemns homosexuality, the more likely one is to be gay.”
Ain’t that the truth? LOL
You have these guys like LaBarbera informing everyone and their grandma about every single fetish ever created, trying to pin those activities on gay people – and then it’s these same people caught doing those things.
Like the Falwell protegee from Alabama:

Most of the s**t they’re condemning, I’ve never even heard of the activities before. Pretty much everything I’ve learned beyond vanilla sex, I heard it from “christians”.
I am indeed a Christian and fully understand that the lifestyle decisions I have made (hetero, married w kids) makes me no “less” sinful than the gay population. However, I feel that I am sinful from the moment of conception – and need forgiveness – just as I need forgiveness for occasional swearing, lust, selfishness, jealosy and the like. I have accepted the fact that I am a mess up on a daily basis due to the fact that A) I am human and B) I need a Savior to forgive me for what I continue to do – knowingly or not.
What’s my point? If you drink alcohol to excess, realize that you are sinful and pray for both forgiveness and recovery. If you are in a homosexual relationship, thank God for companionship, but realize that your physical relationships with your partner are sinful. Same goes for gamblers, thieves, republican senators in restrooms, etc.
…except that loving someone is not the same as doing something to hurt yourself and others. If the only excuse that can be made is that “it hurts God”, which frankly I think is ridiculous, then things like marriage equality should be self-evident to the entire population. I find it appalling that people actually believe that a loving sexual act, as opposed to a mindless one or one of prostitution or violent harmful nature, could be condemned by a loving God or loving people.
In THIS case, the man was committing adultery with someone he was not married to. So in the most conservative gay mindset, this kind of gay conduct is unacceptable and harmful to many people involved. Therefore, even the most conservative gay person could not condone it.
But an act of love for your monogamous partner in your exclusive relationship? How can such a thing be lumped together with murdering, gambling, stealing, excessive drinking, selfishness, or loveless lust?
it CAN’T be wrong because it feels so Good! BS
Wait, did Mark just say he chose to be heterosexual? That’s a story I wanna hear.
