Well, judging from how those particular “christians” were dabbling in black magic (in God’s name) to get something they wanted – it’s not surprising that it backfired on them.

And you know what they say – if you use misuse witchcraft for evildoings, it’ll come back to you “times 3″.

I wonder what their next 2 surprises will be? GOD aka James Dobson croaks? Janet Folger will lose “her” prosthetic penis in front of everyone at the RNC? Matt Barber and Peter LaBarbera will announce their wedding engagement?

I’m a Republican and a Christian, and I can’t STAND Dobson or his sicko hate group. They’re cynical hypocrites and sellouts who play on other people’s ignorance of the Bible in order to twist it into an endorsement of their very this-worldly political ambitions. What a bunch of whitewashed sepulchres.

Matthew 5:44-48 (NIV) 44But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. --- Love your enemies by praying for it to rain on them in order to disrupt their event? Somehow I don't think that' what the verse intended.
