From The Daily Dish at The Atlantic:
There is no way that a person who is indifferent to the question of whether homosexuality is a choice or genetic can support a conference of crackpots, psychological renegades and far-right Christianists seeking to “cure” gay people. Palin is on record seeking to strip gay couples of all rights in their relationships, although she was forced by constitutional mandate to grant equal benefits to gay couples who are employees of the state government in Alaska. She supported a non-binding referendum for an Alaskan constitutional amendment to deny state health benefits to same-sex couples:
Ultimately, she said, she supports denying those [health and retirement] benefits through a constitutional amendment, if that’s what the public wants.

Dear Editor,
I wasn’t quite sure who to address.
I recently read about Sarah Palin’s church in my local Phila Gay news.
It is not because she is a Christian conservative that I am concerned about. That is her own choice. I do not trust the Republicans on gay issues. Bush made his ridiculaouus comments on sexual orienation causeing continuing problems for gays.
I believe Sarah Palin shares the same ideas as her church in regards to gay issues. She can possibly be another Anita Bryant.
I intend to take pen in hand and draft a few letters.
Please feel free tyo e-mail me and send nme your address. Thank you,
Richard richm@bebashi.org
hey cool, i read the local phila gay news too b/c that’s where i live : )
How can religious people interfere with same sex marriage?
Marriage is NOT a religious institution! I say that because atheists get married and here in the US we have a right to practice whatever religion we want and there are many religions that openly accept homosexuality. Most Christians do not, but there are religions where they OPENLY do!
I don’t understand what the reason for banning same sex marriage is. We had this same problem with interracial marriage (which was also considered “unnatural” at one time) and interracial marriage is now legal here in the US!
