I realy wish truth did win out, but as the vote banning gay marriage in CA Tuesday demonstrated, truth is a precious spiritual commodity that people, beset with insecurity and the pathetic need to reshape the world to reflect their absurdly perverse views, are unwilling to work for. I live in CO, grew up in CO Springs, and never cease to be amazed, as I walk the Auraria campus, by the frighteningly hateful bile poisoning the social landscape. So much hate and fear when confronted by loving, joyful gay couples or individuals. There is no Christ in their narrow Christianity. No love, and so I cannot believe there is any communion with God in their hearts either. If they didn’t hurt so many innocents, including their own children, I would feel sorry for them. But in their choice to deliberately foster hate, I say, No, not as long as I have a voice. Not as long as WE have voices.

Thanks Michael!

Although there’s no trove of info on the net about this (likely because their meetings were secret), I’m referring to the “moral majority” group called “Council for National Policy”. The group consisted of Dobson, Perkins, Rushdoony, Schlafly, the LaHaye’s, Falwell, and a couple others associated with the “majority”.

It’s a good, good, GOOD thing that I was only like 5 when this was going on – or else Perkins and the bunch would NOT be around today. But there’s always a second chance, if Perkins and his buddies wants to bring it now.
