According to that logic, Vatican-authorized Catholic faith may be incompatible with historical fact<br/><br/></li><li>the Vatican's action is an "act of peace" with so-called "traditionalists" who advocate violence against Jews<br/><br/></li><li>the Vatican seeks to "promote unity in the church" no matter the cost in human life and morality<br/><br/></li></ol> The National Catholic Reporter makes three important points:
