Although I’m not an atheist, I must say that the gaytheist agenda is a very funny website and expose homophobia for what it is by using sarcasm.

Apparently, more and more politicians are feeling guilty about not upholding our Constitution,which states, “All men are created equal,” and DOESN’T say, “except for gays and lesbians.” Since a majority of Americans now approve of gay marriage and a fairly large majority (according to a recent poll) have a very negative view of politicians of both parties, I guess the pols are looking for the one issue that can gain them a bit of favor with some pretty angry voters. It’s about time.

These anti-gays are getting very desperate. Saying that it violates people’s religious rights? Well if we were to make the legal system conform to everyone’s religion, then we would have precious little left. There would be nothing to do that wouldn’t violate someone’s “deeply held religious beliefs”.

this is a disgrace. My advice is to really reach out to the media big time to counter these bare-faced, slanderous lies. The old adage: repeat a lie so many times and people will believe it, rings very true.

They have this paranoia and sense of imaginary persecution, and it just fuels fanaticism.And the more they lose, the more desperate they get and the dirtier the tricks.

Here in the UK, we get the same thing – a small band of fundamentalists keep distorting the truth, getting lots of headlines about how Christians are being persecuted (by presenting only half the facts) and getting the sympathy vote. (See:

So, really make a fuss and get the message out through the press and adverts. This is slander and hysteria of the lowest order.
