What a joke.

The fact is, Focus embraced a nude model with fake breasts who lied to get into the beauty contest. The only "value" they hold dear is anti-gay sentiment. It seems anything else goes. For Focus, it is, "if it feels good, do it" unless it is gay.

Doesn't bother anyone in the homosexual community (as I am a heterosexual) that there still so much bigotry going around against gays? This whole shenanigan has gone beyond any sensible point that merit a debate. Perhaps we don't need of much discussion but rather a coordinated effort to call at homophobia for what it actually is. Because this whole platter over gay marriage is not going anywhere until we handle the underlying issue here which is homophobia -- whether stems psychologically or through other means, i.e. religion.

I am upset. When you are younger, activism doesn't cross your mind and social issues usually don't interest you much or if does you take on a nonchalant attitude toward them. But as I get older, certain injustice in the world just doesn't settle easy on me. Gay marriage is one of them. For years, I've let my parents' stance on this issue to go by at every turn -- no more. They'll going to be grilled this weekend over this. There is no forgiveness this time. This has to end some time.
