Wayne Besen is the Founding Executive Director of Truth Wins Out and author of “Anything But Straight: Unmasking the Scandals and Lies Behind the Ex-Gay Myth” (Haworth, 2003). I wish I knew – I would have gone.
I also wish we would stop using “bigot.” It certainly does not to convince anyone. You catch more flies with honey . . . It only makes us feel better and will more firmly entrance them to believe they are being persecuting for God.
