As the political battle over same-sex marriage plays out in state capitals across the country, several California companies have emerged as the go-to players for opponents of the marriages, according to The New York Times. Many of these companies are doing their anti-gay work in secret.
The truth is, these people know in their hearts that what they do for a living is sleazy. They have sold their souls and wake up each morning with the mission to deny people equal rights. Even though they use religion to justify their activities, they are clearly not proud of their work and go to great lenghts to hide direct involvement of their immoral actions.
Who can blame them? If I were participating in such a despicable industry, I’d hide and cower behind a PO Box in shame and embarrassment too.

Homophobia is a sin like lying, stealing and murder. Those caught up in homophobia, of course, feel a great deal of guilt, because they know in their hearts that their homophobia is wrong and evil. The guilt overwhelms them and they lash out at the object of their guilt. Or they try to hide their immoral activities, because they are ashamed. If they left the dark, ugly sin of homophobia behind, they would feel much better about themselves and have nothing to hide.

Dear, dear Mikey- I’m not ashamed or embarassed or uncomfortable or resentful because of who I am. I’m not jealous of you, I don’t envy you, I don’t want to like you. I don’t even want my kids around people like you- you know who you are: dark hearted, self hating, bigot, living a half life obsessed by the things you deny in yourself, truth, honesty, humanity and integrity. I pray for ya ol’ Mike. If you left behind you immoral lifestyle you’d find a wonderful world.

Not everyone who posts here nor reads the articles is gay, nor do all who are attracted to the same gender identify themselves as gay. Some people who are not gay actually are open to loving homosexual persons, male or female, as they are, and accept them as they are.
Those who choose not to love others as they are are the real losers. That commandment from God – to love others as we love ourselves – shows me that the people whose rhetoric is not loving do not love themselves, so how can they POSSIBLY love others?
Sad……

Mom of 5, it doesn’t matter what a person does if they are not harming others, its perfectly moral. Your attempt to dictate the lives of those who do you no harm is immoral by definiton – you should be ashamed of yourself.

Mom of 5, you should be very ashamed of yourself. My spouse and I legally married in Canada and we live an extremely quiet, monogamous life (NOT “lifestyle” as so many of the religious right wish to refer to it). We have no children but if we did we would not want them near the likes of YOU. Neither my hersband nor I hate ourselves, we are not dark-hearted, bigoted, living a lie, and all the rest mentioned in your post. My life with my hersband is an extremely full, happy life. We are devoted to one another and faithful as well. So far as I am aware, we have no obsessions. It is individuals and groups such as yourself, dark-hearted, bigoted, living half a life because you cannot accept others who do no harm to you for who they are), obsessed with controlling the lives of those people of whom you do not approve. That’s correct: GLBTQ people do not affect your life by marrying or even just living and being themselves. So pray for YOURSELF Mother of 5–my spouse and I live happily in the protection of the God and Goddess. We will pray that YOU find some tolerance and love for all people.

I fixed it for ya. Move to Iran. Bet the inhuman regime there would love your values….woman.

Yep, I wouldn’t want my child exposed to Mom of 5.
She’s obviously a bit sociopathic, trolling around on gay websites looking for a fight. Probably lives in a vanilla suburb with depreciating property values where we, obviously, do not want to live.
Oh, and hilariously, with 5 children, there’s a pretty decent chance one of hers is gay. If so, hopefully she’ll get over herself before she drives it to depression or suicide.

Mom of 5, what do you say about the straight breeders caught up in adultery? Examples include but not limited to, Sanford, Gingrich, Clinton, Edwards, Vitter, Fossella, Ensign, the list is too numerous to name every one of them. I don’t see you and your breeder ilk going after them or calling their “lifestyle” sinful. The problem with you straight breeders is you can’t even get your own house in order. You’re nothing but a bunch of hypocrites and bigoted religious cultists, damaged people. So shove your bible up your ass or better yet, use it as toilet paper. By the way, just exactly why are you doing trolling gay blogsites for anyway? Prurient interest? I suspect you’re not even a female let alone a mother bringing kids into a world and teaching them to hate.
