My note to the Religious Right who use the Bible to justify their hate and oppression :

You enjoy freedom of religion and then use that freedom to persecute us. We accept that your religion disparages us. Find a reason, any reason, within yourself to separate your religious convictions from the government that we all deserve. Our only wish is that government not be beholden to any religion.

Make no mistake;
We shall fight in the voting booth, we shall fight in the courthouse, we will never surrender. Nothing will deter us from our duty.

This is the very essence of who we are.
This issue exemplifies the best qualities of human nature. The tenets of our struggle are dignity, honor and all that's rightfully ours. We show great fortitude in the face of adversity with gentle determination and perseverance.

For you see, this is our life.
It's simply who we are. We did not chose this for ourselves no more than we chose to be born. We feel unspeakable pain and weep because of your rejection of us. And you would too; We're not a nameless, faceless minority. We're people just like you, with one exception.

Know this,
We can not abandon our cause, for in doing so we would lose ourselves.

We love our country, we love ourselves when no one else does and we love you.

Those tied to this incident will never live it down if a law is passed.

They are guilty and have brought great shame to themselves and this nation. To save face, they should now go to Uganda to undo some of the damage.

As far as Exodus, Randy Thomas and Alan Chambers are moral reprobates who should immediately resign. After they turn in their work badges, they should find the nearest church, get on their hands and knees and repent. Uganda has stained their "legacy" beyond repair. They are accomplices to the crimes that have been committed and have yet to have taken place.

How they look in the mirror and show up to work each day is a great mystery. It shows that both men have no conscience.

even Christians had to deal with it when the romans accused them of cannibalism via the Holy Communion.

It's a shame that some never learn from history.
