Now, this is the only time you mention the Baltic states, and I was wondering what laws have been passed by the Baltics against the GLBTI community?

I totally agree with you. I myself am not gay nor trans, however it sickens me to see the hate made by different religious groups. Gandhi once said: “I love your Christ, but hate your Christians. They are so unlike their Christ.” That is very true just because of all the hate they spread. The bible says that God loves everyone equally, and yet he wants all gays to die? That doesn’t seem right, and if any of these hateful people pull their heads out of their ass, then they’ll see that they are the ones who are attacking morals, starting wars, breeding hate. Not the gays. Thats my two cents.

Please also note that the 1948 definition of genocide by the United Nations includes acts beyond killing people as genocide.

From http://www.un.org/millennium/law/iv-1.htm:

The Convention defines genocide as any of a number of acts committed with the intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group:
1) killing members of the group;
2) causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
3) deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
4) imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group, and
5) forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.

I fear it is going to take a widely-publicised act of huge-scale genocide for people to pay real attention. People are ignorant to the fact that it is already happening.
