It's vital to chip away at her sin of homophobia whenever we see a tiny bit of it flaking off. As a Christian, I'm very aware what she is experiencing--the Holy Spirit is trying to convict her heart. She claims to be a Christian (while mocking God with her perverting of Christ's commandments). This angers God and you can be sure He is constantly sending the Holy Spirit to "convict" her heart--to let her know that what she's doing is wrong. This is what makes her so guilt-ridden and miserable and mean. But she continues to fight it, tooth and nail, because her homophobia is more important to her than her soul. But you can see, there are brief moments when the urgings of the Holy Spirit are getting through. Rather than allow anti-gay advocacy groups to destroy our nation, we need to always be ready to push (in a loving, compassionate manner like you did) to make that final break through so lost people like radical anti-gay activist Gallagher can break free of her homophobia.
