I’ve never, ever heard of “ManCrunch” before, and the production quality of the commercial is dreadful, considering it was intended for a worldwide Super Bowl audience.

The ad provides an opportunity for reflection, but to suggest all life is sacred from the moment of conception is ludicrous (then we should not kill houseflies for instance). It emphasizes why we need better sex education, easier availability of contraception, and to stop filling people with guilt and shame for having sex. There wouldn't be nearly as many abortions if young people, especially women, knew the choices available to them. The fun side of it, is that FotF get to waste $2.5million. Also, the opportunities for ridiculing the advert, and Mr Homeschool Tebow are endless, and we can make fun of them on YouTube. It will provide comedy fodder for Jon Stewart, Bill Maher and others. This opens up opportunities to get serious discussions going in the press: With FotF in the news, this weekend is the perfect time to get on the phone to the editor, the TV and radio stations, offering comment about how Dobson's organization is such a danger to society (a. promoting flawed abstinence only methods b. rejecting informed opinion about homosexuality and causing misery for gay people and their families c. ruining children's life chances and minds by promoting creationism d. stupid belief that life is sacred from point of procreation ...and so on). There are so many reasons why we would be better off without parasites like this. As for the gay dating ad - sorry, it's just too silly.
