More like a push than a nudge. My experience with people on the middle ground is that there is a great deal of apathy amongst them, and thus they are not compelled to do anything to help equality. What really steamed my broccoli during the prop 8 elections was that there were people who voted no because they felt that the situation was irrelevant to their own lives.</description>
