Forever banished to obscurity by all credible mental health organizations, Paul Cameron still manages to pop up now and then. He did a phone interview with David Pakman* on Midweek Politics on the subject of DADT repeal and, well, he’s still Paul Cameron! He’s making up statistics, using research methods that don’t even actually qualify as, um, research methods, talking about secret gay bathrooms in the Pentagon, and a bunch of other stuff! So I guess we’ll file this under “comedy videos”?

Radical anti-gay activist and quack Cameron never gives up. How many times can one person have licenses taken away, be rebuked by boards, authorities and organizations, yet still have the chutzpah to claim that he’s some sort of expert? You are absolutely correct to file this under “comedy.” A secondary category might be “fiction.”
He’s only an “expert” in the way that Peter LaBarbera is.
This guy is like the Grand Dragon of Homobigots. I’ve noticed when these idiots talk about rape/unwanted sexual advances/etc., that it NEVER occurs to them that LGBT people could just as easily be victims as heterosexuals.
And the way he talks about Randy Shilts in the present tense is truly weird, since Shilts died in 1994.

The military turns its head when female soldiers are raped – when they’re being compassionate. Usually female soldiers are harassed or demoted for reporting a male soldier for rape. Have you ever heard of LaVena Johnson? She was sexually assaulted, bound, dragged into a tent, and set on fire, which the army ruled a suicide. Look up the statistics on military sexual truama; truly it should be a national shame that over half of female soldiers are treated this way.
WHY is the issue of rape only now being addressed?(And does it not occur to them that gay people already share showers and bunkers without incident?)
