Molotov Mitchell thinks he is really, REALLY, super-duper cool. He acts as though his extreme right shtick is unique and original. But, upon closer inspection it appears that he may be a poseur.
Could the extremist be attempting a right wing knock-off of the comedian Penn on the Showtime hit “Bullshit” with Penn & Teller?
It appears that he apes the real comedian in mannerisms and delivery. Visually, he copycats the show with extraneous people and objects popping up randomly on the screen. Take a look at the two videos – compare – and judge for yourself. Is Molotov Mitchell a phony who is trying to steal Penn’s gig without giving him credit?
As Penn might say – that’s bullshit!

Never heard of Molotov Mitchell before and I hope to never hear of him again. Nice graphics though.

Well, the “tell it like it is” attitude is hardly new and hardly unique to conservatives. Mitchell’s clip is surely in that mold, but I’m not sure he’s directly ripping off Penn Jillette. He does come across as a phony poseur though… the other video’s evidence enough that he’s an idiot pretending to be wise and knowledgeable. In this video, it’s pretty telling that he decides to talk about Switzerland (where many people live in the mountains and it can take the police a long time to arrive) instead of, for example, Japan (which has a very low crime rate and strict gun control along with a much higher population density). He’s pushing his own misguided agenda, not actually considering facts or creating any kind of reliable “record.”

In another obscene video on youtube “Molotov” (such a cool name.. BARF!) defends the Uganda “kill the gays” bill.. he makes up some bizarre story about an ancient Ugandan ruler who raped his male subjects, and makes the ridiculous assertion that because of this, Ugandan’s have every right “too hate homosexuality” Wow!

I find Penn and Teller mildly obnoxious, but they are definately NOT rightwing nor homophobic. The show where they bashed the phony ‘ex-gay’ movement was hilarious—and true.

I love Penn & Teller actually. He’s so hardcore. I particularly loved the episode of Bullshit about the Catholic Church.

Penn & Teller’s excellent ‘Vatican Is Bullshit’, which angered the lunatic Catholic League last August, is well worth seeing, by the way (3 parts):

Open your eyes to the truth
whether you like it or not, Mitchell is right
right and wrong is like black and white, there is no gray middle ground which u can mold to your liking
everything is either Godly or unGodly, there is no semi-godly
whether you choose to see it now or not, you will soon

Um, Sestinas are supposed to have six full six line stanzas, and then a tercet at the end, and I’m not sure how you’re going to work “semi-godly” into each stanza and have it make any sort of sense, so you probably need to work on that a while longer.
