Focus on the Family today mourned the NCAA’s cancellation of a Focus ad which implicitly shamed the parents of gay Americans.
The ad, which had been shown on the basketball tournament web site, insinuated that politically incorrect families — non-evangelicals, pro-choice families, and families of gay people — can’t “Celebrate Family” and “Celebrate Life” like everyone else.
The ad’s tagline further insinuated that fathers whose sons are not “right” for any reason are doomed to a life of disappointment — and that someone or something sinister should be blamed.
Focus failed to explain to its readers the many reasons why the NCAA found its ad offensive.

The large pro-bullying, pro-hate crimes, anti-gay advocacy group, FOF, discriminates against law-abiding, taxpaying, gay, American families. Thus, they are not “pro-family” as they claim, they are anti-gay families. Rather than gleefully and proudly promoting intolerance and unequal treatment toward some Americans families, they should be ashamed of themselves. Their “values” of discrimination, prejudice, promotion of hate crimes and bullying in schools, intolerance, removal of civil rights and religious liberty for some, and bigotry are not values anyone should be proud of.

Ah their true colors show. As I always say it’s not Focus on the Family, it’s Focus on the Patriarchy. From their add, it’s apparent that they see the family as an accessory to enhance the dominate male figure. They don’t actually care about the family, just that it reflects their idealization of a hierarchy.
I agree completely with you, Michael. I’m surprised they haven’t been listed as a hate group by the SPLC. They are supremacists and their false claims to “love” us are a transparent as ever.
