This is Cindy Jacobs of “Generals International,” closing out the “Convergence 2010: A Cry to Awaken a Nation” conference, which also featured Pastor Jim Garlow, Bishop Harry Jackson, and known nutcase Janet Porter as speakers. All are Religious Right leaders of varying influence, but I think when you watch this video, you’ll agree with me that Cindy Jacobs needs to be handed the reins of the entire movement, because she communicates their true, utterly insane beliefs, more clearly than any I’ve ever seen.
Seriously, though, you might have to start and stop this video several times, because I was busting a gut laughing by 0:35.

Keep talking, Cindy! A nation starved for humor needs you!

Wow, that was, like, a live nervous breakdown on stage.
Very impressive.

OMG I want to start a new Facebook group or something to support her. You know, “1,000,000 to make Cindy Jacobs a gay icon for life” or something.

Removing generational curses. Curing AIDS. Replacing disks.
This is Biblical Barbarism and Scriptural Savagery. What an outrageous con artist.
And those poor ignorant sheep in the audience who are falling for it hook-line-and-sinker.
They will have to update the phrase, “There is a sucker born every minute”, to there is “a sucker born every second?”

Did anyone else hear “The cats are free [unintelligible] Castro”? Or “In the name of Jesus Christ [unintelligible] by television”?
I am terrified for humanity.

It’s nice of them to give jobs to people with mental illnesses.

I think I saw the reasonwhy St. Paul did not want women to have authority over men.

During her healing shtick I noticed she never mentions that amputees would be healed. I wonder why.
My first encounter with one of these faith-healing quacks was as a child in the 1950’s when I was taken to a few of Oral Roberts’ revivals in a giant tent. Of course, at that age I didn’t realize he was a quack.
Cindy is priceless. We need more like her on video to portray as the face of Christianity in America. But then again, in America there is always the danger that lots of people will like what they see.
