Man, and I was sure it was our fault again!
According to Rush Limbaugh, though, God is making the Iceland volcano go boom in response to something else entirely:
You know, a couple of days after the health care bill had been signed into law Obama ran around all over the country saying, “Hey, you know, I’m looking around. The earth hadn’t opened up. There’ no Armageddon out there. The birds are still chirping.” I think the earth has opened up. God may have replied. This volcano in Iceland has grounded more airplanes ‚Äî airspace has more affected ‚Äî than even after 9/11 because of this plume, because of this ash cloud over Northern and Western Europe. At the Paris airport they’re telling people to head to the train station to catch trains out of France, and when people get to the train station they’re telling people, “There aren’t any seats until at least April 22nd,” basically a week from now. It’ got everybody in a shutdown. Earth has opened up. I don’t know whether it’ a rebirth or Armageddon. Hopefully it’ a rebirth, God speaking.
What this tells us is that whatever god Rush Limbaugh worships is stone cold dumb, which is appropriate, considering.
Limbaugh’s followers are so easily led that they experience no cognitive dissonance when he says, as Blue Texan put it, that “God is punishing Europe because the US passed Mitt Romney’s health care plan.”

Well, at least God is fairly consistent: Every year He unleashes tornadoes in the Bible Belt states as punishment for the sins of all the other states, including such recent sins as gay relationships being recognized in MA, VT, CT, NH, NJ, IA, WA, DC, and CA.
God doesn’t cause disasters, but He sure can use them for the Kingdom!
Strange as it is, with a very high percentage of Northern European commercial air traffic grounded, due to the risks associated with the ash cloud from the Eyjafjallajokul Volcano, a Major NATO military drill is taking place.
I have not found any reports of military aircraft involved in the exercise “Brilliant Mariner’, being grounded due to the dangers posed to other aircraft.
It does seem rather strange that while volcanic ash is keeping all commercial aircraft on the ground around the U.K. this exercise is taking place.

Last Saturday Bill Maher made a joke about how were the conservatives going to blame the volcano in Iceland on Obama. Sure enough, they did! I dont think Limbaugh really believes this nonsense himself. He’s evil, but not stupid, but he knows the morons who listen to him are gullible enough to fall for it. They must think God is as stupid as they are. The US has not been greatly affected by the ash (so far), and the parts of Europe that have been, have had socialized medicine for decades! At least Yahweh could have picked Mount Saint Helens again or something else closer to DC.
Uhhh, this was obviously sarcasm, most specifically aimed at the global warming crowd. Does anyone remember this??
