They already do, and that right ends when it involves the direct suffering of another human being. Kids also need to have the right to feel safe and to express themselves in an institution of learning, or anywhere else, without fear that they’re going to be harmed.

That’s the part that makes me the most sick. These people don’t care about children. They’re not only willing to let destructive abuse on children happen, but endorse and encourage it. They are directly responsible for the children who die by such discrimination, by the victims’ own hands or by the hands of their peers.

They are sacrificing children to their own selfish, twisted, ignorant, paranoid, superstitious, fear-ridden ideology. THEY are the threat to our youth.

People do need to see “how the kids are affected” — by their bigotry.
