What a performance! She even looked like a drag queen performing her role (no offense to drag queens). God must be entirely impressed. Anyway, I appauld you, Wayne for the boldness to publish the truth. What I’d like to see is healthy, happy, homosexual families giving their testimony! Where are the married gay people videos. I feel like a hypocrite everyday stomping and pleading for equal marriage being single! Isn’t it just too damn easy to get what you want and then retreat into your comfortable life, away from the war, away from the strife? I expect it from the majority of gay men but WHERE are all the champions? To quote Ms. Bonnie: “Where have all the good men gone and where are all the gods? Where’s the street-wise hercules, the tides are rising up. Isn’t there a white knight upon a fiery steed…” Damn, now I gotta go put my iPod on and dance down the street again! da done da da done…da da done da ah! AHH!!

Great summation of the state of affairs. There is a radical element that sees the growing diversity and freedom in America and hates it. Their desires are based on nostaglia for a past in which the races were divided, nonwhites were in perpetual underclasses, gays and lesbians dared not be found out, and women were dutiful homemakers. The radical element is small but virulent and receives far more press than they deserve. They are becoming so irrational that their rhetoric has become murderous. What will it lead to?

EXCELLENT call to Awareness, Wayne!! This is 1 of the reasons I’m so opposed to what’s happening in Arizona! That farce of a law is a sneaky way to attack a group of others in an area which needs some repair. But if left alone, such attacks will turn on us rather quickly (though, for Latino/a Gays that’s already happening) :((

I keep pounding this message home to friends as well as my spouse. A takeover by these crazies is unlikely unless we all become complacent. I’ve seen enough of these nuts in action to know that their coming to power would literally mean a holocause for LGBT Americans and anyone they don’t like. Already we have them screaming for the recriminalisation of homosexuality in this country and there is a loud minority even calling for our blood.

Also these are people who want the Apocalypse to happen as soon as possible and they don’t care about taking the rest of us with them.

This is the most worried I have been for GLBT people and freedom in this country in a long time.
