Because those are just the same, Bill.
What’s sad is that the average pork-rind-stained viewer of Fox News probably didn’t notice anything wrong with O’Reilly’s question.

Guys. You’re overthinking this. It’s just a sweet ad that seeks to include a group that hasn’t historically been portrayed that often.

Totally cute! Good for McDonalds. Bill O’Reilly, ech, will go the way of all mortal flesh, thank god.

I like Bill O’Reilly’s show. I think he is generally a good guy; the “conservative wacko” label definitely doesn’t apply to him, but after watching his show for years, I can say that he does have a kind of “blind spot,” per se, when it comes to gay issues.
He has said that he doesn’t care if same-sex couples are allowed to marry, but you can tell he’s not exactly where he should be on this issue. The “al Queda” comment was out of bounds; he should offer a quick apology and we should all move on.

For every rational statement Billo occasionally makes he has dozens of idiotic comments. This isn’t the first. And, he refuses to admit when he’s made them. Christopher, you’re entitled to your opinion but in my opinion your opinion is wrong.

Oh, not he didn’t! This is beyond stupid, and beyond offensive. There has to be a word for when the most extreme stupidity collides with the most extreme bigotry.

Christopher Lamparello – you said Bill is generally a good guy. This is the same man who always puts down gays and people of color. Not to mention he was sued by a co-worker for sexual harrassment. This doesn’t sound like “good guy”. You might think about changing the channel – you are becoming FAUX like their news shows. I’m just saying.

Bill OReilly is most definitely wacko. In addition, he would not have a job on Fox “news” unless he was rabidly conservative. Bill OReilly’s gay = extremist comment is not new for him. He is the same commentator that disparaged Brokeback Mountain for “humanizing homosexuals”. I guess Bill OReilly would take exception to my opinion that I am both gay and human.
