Principles are overrated, aren’t they, Sir Elton?
Of course, that report says that Elton John is being paid over a million dollars to perform, and since he doesn’t need the money, I could think of a bunch of great LGBT charities and organizations which could put that money to good use.
David Badash compiled a helpful list a while back of the most homophobic things Rush Limbaugh has ever said to the early bird buffet gluttons who listen to him every day, in case you’ve been living on Mars and need to be reminded what a bigot he is.

Well this one’s got me scratching my head.
I’ve hated him ever since he obnoxiously defended Eminem, as a publicity stunt for his sagging career. I’m glad he’s showing his true colors again as an unprincipled w***e. He got away with it with Eminem, but he’s not going to come away from this one unscathed.
Elton John is like the new Billy Graham! haha, when the rich and powerful (like Eminem) are ready to begin public repentance of their homophobia, who-ya-gonna-call? EJ! Yes, “Elton Made Me Do It”… after I finally met “a homosexual” (albeit the most famous homo in the world), only THEN did I realize how WRONG I had been about the ‘mo’s… we’ll see…
Um, before we go off too much on Elton why don’t we find out what’s actually going on. Elton’s nuts but he’s also done a lot.
I don’t know Daniel…Elton started losing me when he cosied up to M&M and lost me for good when he said civil unions were good enough and gays and lesbians don’t need equal marriage.
You don’t have to agree with everything he says or does, but I think this is an issue where we’re at a 10 when we should be at a 5. If Elton John comes out in support of Limbaugh then sure, we should tell him what an idiot he is, but until then I’m going to wait and see.
