That’s the headline of his latest piece, so unless I’m missing the subtle irony in Fischer’s fourth grade reading level work, I think it’s safe to say that he meant “Gay sex = domestic terrorism.”

Some of England’s leading newspapers – The Sun, the Telegraph, the Daily Mail – all had feature stories yesterday about the latest Taliban terror tactic: burying dirty needles with their bombs in an effort to infect troops with HIV. They are planting hypodermic syringes below the surface with the points facing upward in hopes that bomb squad experts will prick themselves and become contaminated with hepatitis and HIV.
If the bomb goes off, then the needles become deadly flying shrapnel.
Said a member of Parliament, “Are there no depths to which these people will stoop? This is the definition of a dirty war.”
If we connect the dots here, the inescapable conclusion is that gay sex is a form of domestic terrorism.
What dots?! Let’s see, Bryan. Gay sex = consensual. Being bombed with dirty syringes = something that most people don’t request. HIV = affects millions of people, regardless of sexual orientation, rising rapidly in heterosexuals, almost nonexistent among lesbians, can be prevented by abstinence and safer sex practices.
Every time an HIV-infected male has sex with another male, it’s essentially the same as plunging an infected heroin needle into his arm.
Yes, but! That is in no way equivalent to “gay sex,” moron. Because, again, it’s nonexistent among lesbians, for the most part, and if neither of you have HIV or other sexually transmitted diseases, they don’t just freaking spring up! And again, you know, condoms. They’re readily available in fine drugstores and Wal-Mart Supercenters.
Now if gays are allowed into the military, they will be inevitably be put in battlefield situations where donated blood from soldiers may be necessary to save the lives of wounded comrades. An HIV-infected American soldier whose blood is used in those circumstances may very well condemn his fellow soldier to death rather than save his life.
Um, HIV infected people can’t serve. Also? The great majority of gay people don’t have HIV. Also, unless Bryan Fischer thinks the military is too f***ing stupid to test the blood they use for transfusions…
Again. What can you possibly say about Bryan Fischer anymore? He is seriously the most ridiculous, least competent anti-gay imam I have ever come across, and no, I haven’t forgotten about Peter LaBarbera.
I’m seriously worried about his mental health. I hope there is someone among his family or friends who is watching for the signs of early onset dementia, schizophrenia, or an assortment of other mental illnesses. Seriously. Those of you who pray should add him to your list.

If I’m not mistaken, HIV dies almost immediately when exposed to air and light, so the hepatitis would be more of a threat than HIV.

Is this the old made new again? I’m 45 and didn’t we alive in the 1980′s go through this b******t already? Being gay = having AIDS. I’ve already lived this nightmare once. Fred Phelps new self was born in this time frame. Of course, this time, people like Gary (NJ) are around who KNOW the scientific evidence, like air exposure, light and as Wayne states on testing and condition of service. Before you shake off the impact of this new “Gay = ” gameplay, consider that Gay=AIDS caused all the restrictions we’re all now fighting, including marriage. This is serious s**t. Does Bryan Fischer seriously expect us to believe that he is driven by concern for American soldiers being exposed to HIV? While I don’t know his views on other specific issues, he clearly aligns himself with the Super Christian WingNuts who have been the most enthusiastic cheer leaders for sending soldiers to be wounded, disfigured, disabled, or killed in useless wars.
People like Bryan Fischer are the reason why the young generation are abandoning Christianity in their droves – so keep talking Bryan, you are far more effective than Dawkins and Hitchens ever could be in encouraging the exodus from hate ministries such as yours.

How long will it be til Bryan denies what he just said?
He keeps on lighting bags of verbal poo, leaving them at our door, and slinking away-in broad daylight, with EVERYBODY watching. And then shrugging, “I didn’t do it.”
And, once again: This is stupidest thing he’s ever said-until the next time he says something.
HIV+ person’s are allowed to serve in the military still. They are just not allowed to serve overseas, on ships, and definitely not in combat zones. Does this put other military members at increased risk of having to serve in areas because of them being unable to serve in those areas, not at all. Many people are restricted for many reasons all the time, not just permanently. Female members for example could become pregnant, and end up pregnant the entire time they are on active duty and not be deployed to certain areas/ship/combat areas. So don’t let the naysayers say, the gays the gays, or the poz people the poz people. A lot of officers also get cushy orders too for years and years.
