This is Al Krieger, mayor of Yuma, Arizona. His masculinity is threatened by gay men:

Anyway, Al Krieger doesn’t really need to worry about “lacy-drawered, limp-wristed” gays in the military, because the kinds of gays who already serve in the United States military are the kind with the sort of training that would enable them to beat the hell out of sad sack men like Al Krieger with one hand tied behind their backs.

If you have a problem with Krieger’s comments, you ought to e-mail him at alan.krieger@yumaaz.gov.

  1. Amazing that that redneck dirt bag equates being gay with pacifism. After all, real men are violent, right? As for the lacy underwear, limp wrist comment, what century is that douche bag living in? Most gay guys could put that mayor on his ass (it’s okay to say ass; Obama said so) in about 1 second because they are in unbelievable shape and are … See Moreconstantly working out so they look good in their camoflage military underwear at the Black Party. Once again, Arizona leads the nation in ignorant bigotry.

  3. I was “married” (and I’ll be damn glad when I don’t have to put those quotes around ever again), to Master Gunnery Sgt. USMC who I can see just smiling at this ass clown with his arms crossed. Having seen what mine could do at a strip club where he bounced one night, it scared the hell out of me to know, ‘this man could easily kill me’. But he was the most loving, kind and considerate man (sometimes). He is a living testament to the quality and character that supersedes dumb shits like this fool espousing his douche bag beliefs of others people’s lives. Hey Mr. Republican politician, how long before you’re caught in a bathroom giving head or on rentboy.com, you asshole! Now, ask me how I really feel…

  4. Alan Krieger said…WHAT?!?!?! Okay, in what world does one equate being gay with being a pacifist. Obviously, he hasn’t seen me go off on a person after they just insulted me. LOL And YES, I served in the military!

  5. so, he doesn’t like gay male stereotypes. How about the butch, tough-as-nails lesbian stereotypes? Can THEY serve?

  6. I sent this e-mail to the mayor yesterday. Subject: A Vietnam Veterans Concern:

    Mayor Krieger,

I sure got a chuckle from your statement regarding DADT, “I cannot believe a bunch of Lacey-drawered, limp-wristed people could do what those men have done in the past.”

I’m amazed when people are willing to show such ignorance in public. Where were you exposed to such nonsense? Was it in your Lacey-drawered, limp-wristed church, or your Lacey-drawered, limp-wristed family?

Oh, well. Enjoy your fifteen minutes of infamy. You certainly earned it.

  9. Merrell, my partner was in the Army for 30 years (a full colonel) and even though he’s in his 50s now, he could still probably kill krieger with one hand. BTW, lacy drawers are out, bustles are all the rage this season.

  10. Ben in Oakland > This fossil is (obviously) from the same bygone era, probably born around the same time as John Sydeny McSame III (surprised this ass clown didn’t get after MsCame for the ‘girly’ middle name….oh, wait he was probably spending all his time forwarding Obama – Muslim – Nig*er jokes during the 08 general).

  11. On December 18, 2010, the United States Senate voted 65-31 to repeal the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy. This vote will end the 17 year ban and pave the way for all gays to serve openly in any branch of the United States military.
