People Can Change, the groups that runs manly, man retreats scrubbed its website of any traces of Alan Downing, its lead counselor of Journey into Manhood (JIM) weekends.This occurred after Truth Wins Out exposed Downing for practicing therapeutic lap dances, known as touch therapy and asking his much younger clients to strip nude in his office.
Why doesn’t Rich Wyler, who runs People Can Change, put out a statement apologizing to the people his organization hasn’t changed, and to those who have been harmed by people like Downing?
It is because he doesn’t give a damn about his clients and wants to protect his bogus business model.
Note to Mr. Wyler. We are going to shut you down. Better stash away your pretty pennies. Your salacious and scandalous program is pure garbage and you are bilking innocent people out of their hard earned money. I’m glad you came out and are no longer masquerading as Ben Newman. Now we know who the culprit behind the fraud truly is.
Unfortunately, for Wyler, quack therapist Richard Cohen still has Downing’s bio up on his website. Take a look before Cohen erases it too.

So the bald guy at the top of the list had sexual relations with the female cousin and then turned to same sex attraction when the cousin was no longer available??? Ya, that’s exactly what all the straight people I’ve ever met have done as well…NOT.

What really impresses me is the letters CSRC after many of those people’s names on Richard Cohen’s website, which stands for “Certified Sexual Reorientation Coach” – certified, that is, by the “International Healing Foundation”. It reminds me rather of L. Ron Hubbard, who had the letters D.Sc. after his name because he had awarded himself a doctorate in Scientology.

I am sick of the radical homosexual lobby trying to shove your lifestyle decisions on to everyone else. Groups like People Can Change aren’t critical of you. Why do you feel so compelled to attack groups that only work with people who want to change?
I’ve experienced unwanted same sex attraction for many years. I went to many different counselors who had not clue as to understanding the root source of my SSA. I do NOT want to embrace SSA, I want to overcome it.
Remarkably, it was only after getting involved with PCC and attending one of their retreats, that I have been able to overcome an addiction to pornography. I have also had no sexual attraction toward men for the past 10 months. Am I happy about this? You bet I am–and my relationshp and sex life with my wife of the past 22 years couldn’t be better.
I’m not trying to say this is for everyone or that it works for everyone. It clearly is not and does not. I do believe it works for many men to varying degrees.

Was my Same Sex Attraction biological? I seriously doubt it. The more I’ve learned about other men who have SSA, the more common denominators I’ve noticed among these men. Certainly environmental factors played a huge role in my SSA and those of other men and women.
My angry reaction? Give me a break. This entire website is filled with vitrolic hate by men who refuse to recognize that they may can change.
As for my wife, I told her before we ever married of my history with SSA. She loved me in spite of this.

There has clearly been a strong lobbying effort by those promoting the homosexual political agenda to infiltrate groups such the American Psychiatric Association. It is incredible to me that the APA totally reversed their long held public positions on homosexuality as recently as 1973 even though there is still no conclusive scientific evidence to support some of the positions they have taken.
