Few even can ask intelligent questions, let alone ANSWER any in a way that didn't come out of a can. Just having an intelligent conversation is impossible. I'm not gay, but it's interesting when they assume I am and how their tone changes. They start talking down to me as if to a little child. I don't like stupid people, and I don't like cowards. That's my definition of homophobes like Lively. If they look like someone's college professor, they impress. I've been shut down quickly after a few key questions. He tried to sell me on his book. When I asked in what journal it was favorably peer reviewed, he changed the subject. He isn't that bright, and when challenged he begins to quote the bible. He let me know that jeebus saved him from a life of alcohol and drug addition. I told him that just because he couldn't get his shit together, doesn't mean that the rest of us are a bunch of losers who need some idiot religion to make it. It was a rather interesting, albeit tedious, exchange.
