If you’re not familiar with Greg Gutfeld, I don’t blame you. Most of us would rather do anything else in the known universe than watch Fox’s Red Eye at 3:oo AM on weekdays. Gutfeld seems to think he’s the “conservative version” of The Daily Show or something, and as with most attempts at humor from that side of the aisle, it falls flat, because humor should be rooted in reality rather than white male resentment.
Gutfeld’s latest attempt at humor/journalism (posted, of course, at one of Andy Breitbart’s “Big Moron” sites) involves Muslims, the “Ground Zero” mosque (Cordoba House for the literates among you), and homosexuals:
So, the Muslim investors championing the construction of the new mosque near Ground Zero claim it’s all about strengthening the relationship between the Muslim and non-Muslim world.
As an American, I believe they have every right to build the mosque – after all, if they buy the land and they follow the law – who can stop them?

I’m announcing tonight, that I am planning to build and open the first gay bar that caters not only to the west, but also Islamic gay men. To best express my sincere desire for dialogue, the bar will be situated next to the mosque Park51, in an available commercial space.
This is not a joke. I’ve already spoken to a number of investors, who have pledged their support in this bipartisan bid for understanding and tolerance.
As you know, the Muslim faith doesn’t look kindly upon homosexuality, which is why I’m building this bar. It is an effort to break down barriers and reduce deadly homophobia in the Islamic world.
The goal, however, is not simply to open a typical gay bar, but one friendly to men of Islamic faith. An entire floor, for example, will feature non-alcoholic drinks, since booze is forbidden by the faith. The bar will be open all day and night, to accommodate men who would rather keep their sexuality under wraps – but still want to dance.

A. Be racist against Muslims
B. Feign a liking for The Gays.
C. Engage in a discriminatory game of “Now you gays and you Muslims fight!”

Everytime I read stuff like this, I wonder if the terrorist did win on 9-11. They hate us partly because they think we are hypocrites. They think we like to be all high and mighty when in reality we are hateful individuals. We’ve had a Mosque a few miles from where I live for years now and no one has lost their homes, neighborhoods, etc. or whatever else trencherbone thinks will happen. I was also glad that after 9/11 there was *no* vandalism against this same Mosque–sorry to disappoint you trench. Also, I doubt that Muslims in NYC get all hot and bothered when seeing gays obviously being gay in public. I saw a TV show recently about gay Turks in Germany and they said that Muslims there couldn’t care less about gay German guys holding hands in public as they are already ‘infidels’ so that fact that they’re gay is irrelevant. The one Turkish interviewee said they only would be upset if it were (Turkish) Muslim guys being gay in public. Gutfeld’s stupid plan would fail anyway.

irregardless at how you look at it, islam is still to be considered armed and dangerous. In the netherlands we used to pride ourselves as a free and open minded country where gays can live and express themselves freely. Recently muslim immigrants are showing more and more of their intolerance for our free culture and willing to use violence to attack minorities.
Jews, women and gays are like the 3 canaries in a coal mine. When islam becomes stronger the 3 groups begin to suffer. Recently i had a bad experience with islamic intolerance in my own country. I was eating in an outdoor cafe with my girl-friend , we were wearing shorts and it was nice day, i put my feet up on an adjoining chair ( because i had slightly sprained my ankle )when suddenly a middle age muslim man (morrocan?) cursed at us and called us -”jij stomme sletten en hoeren”= you f***king s***s and w****s !”. My friend and I were shocked that we were insulted in our own country for wearing something they in their religion consider us any infidel women as w****s.
This is the same in many european countries now. Many muslim men consider us european women fair play and s***s and w****s ! yes, i am worried for America – you are a big country and you must wake up all the citizens to realise that islam is not just any other religion, it is a political sistem couched in religion and its prime directive is to impose Shariah law on all inhabitants of the planet earthe ! Please listen to Geert Wilder’s , i am so sad that many dutch people are still asleep and politically correct, i think holland and belgium is in great danger. Iceland stupidly build mosque for islamic refugees and also gave them satellite TV to connect to more jihad propaganda in their home country, i think iceland is in big trouble , it is only 250,000 population, and once immigrant muslims multiply -goodbye iceland and Rejkjavik ! Those of us who have seen homosexuals hanging from construction cranes in Iran – I saw three of them in a town square, hanging by cables around their necks – do not delude ourselves that islam is a sweet loving religion. the three men ( two were in their 30s one was a teenager ) were left to hang there until the decay allowed their heads to pull apart from their bodies and there were many photos of this circulated. I saw muslim men laughing as they passed by the suspended bodies.
The leftists in the USA can live in their fantasy world but if they want a dose of the real world, let them leave their cozy places and live in Iran of almost any part of Saudi Arabia for a year, and then share their glorious experiences with us. It will never happen. The left are the same in every land – they talk, but do nothing.
