Or something.  I really don’t know what this video is about, but it’s Randy Thomas talking about how he bought the new Old Spice, because he thinks the man in the commercial is “funny”, but unfortunately the deodorant makes him smell like a “cranapple woman.”

Then he goes to Starbucks and orders a gayer drink than I ever have, and finishes by driving down the road singing, in a gay way, the end.

  1. The only way Randy Thomas would become more macho is if he had a butch boyfriend by his side.

Working on “swagger” and increasing masculinity is a HUGE part of the ex-gay industry. When I look at Alan Chambers and Randy Thomas I keep thinking — is that really the best they can do??? Based on their behavior, it would be fair to ask if Exodus actually decreases masculinity.

  2. I couldn’t even watch until the end; this guy is truly disgusting! “Ex-gay”? What kind of an animal is that??

  4. I went to an exodus conference in the late 1990s and they had organized a touch football game for the guys. It was to help foster masculinity and “healing”. They told me that I should join as it would help me. I replied that I played “real” football in high school and had been in the army. That was way more masculine then there “touch” game and they didn’t make me straight. Somehow playing a touch and feely game with a bunch of self repressing, totally in denial gay men wasn’t gonna fulfill my desire that I had for a wife and kids.

Ok, the desire that everyone was telling me that I should have and should want.

  5. Now, several years later, I like playing a different kind of touchy feely games with self accepting gay men.

    LOL

  6. Sounds simply nuts to me. Like passing out booze at an AA meeting. If I was organizing that game I would have had the men mud wrestle with women.

  7. Maybe Randy is just trying to put Truth Wins Out out of business. With videos like this, there isn’t much more we can do to prove “ex-gay” programs are pure bullshit.

  8. no, U GAIZ, randy isn’t “straight” or even “ex-gay,” he’s “christian on a post-gay journey!!!” which is his way of saying since he can’t be hetero and won’t be homo, he’s just a nomo. As in, No mo’ sexuality, period.

  11. I have no use for gender/gay sterotypes. If you are a femenine man/drag queen, butch lesbian, or just run of the mill typical person who happens to be gay, ALL are great..but, this supposedly ‘ex’ gay guy seems gayer and more ‘sterotypical’ than any guy I have seen in a long time! I mean, this guy is queenier than a prada handbag full of rainbows, and HE is supposed to be some type of SUCCESS story of “ex” gay, embracing your masculinity type crap? It would be hysterical if it were not so damn sad!!

  12. I finally know what Randy means by “Post Gay”. It means he post gay videos on YouTube.

  14. Well, I went ahead and viewed some of Randy Thomas’ other material. And this is my analysis: Randy is as gay as gay gets! Who does he think he is fooling? Wait! I know the answer! The judgmental Christians. they will believe anything.

The above link is to Randy’s denial that he isn’t gay. He sure puts a huge spotlight on why he ISN’T gay. And, why pull the video?
