A new organization, Catholics for Equality, has launched, “to support, educate, and mobilize equality-supporting Catholics to advance LGBT equality at federal, state, and local levels.”
The organization is asking tolerant and accepting American Catholics (the majority) to stand up to the increasingly strident Vatican and its over-stuffed closet full of anti-gay priests (the loud minority). The Executive Director is Phil Attey, who I used to work with at the Human Rights Campaign.
Truth Wins Out wishes this new organization much luck and success in its important mission.
I guess no more communion for them! I wonder if the roman catholic crime syndicate thinks Jesus would approve of the shitty, rotten way they treat people who don’t agree with the church’s bigotry and exclusion.
Somehow I can see the RCC excommunicating Jesus himself, not allowing him to minister to the church because of the people he associates with and challenging him on the entire Eucharist thing!
