The post title is a direct correction of Peter LaBarbera’s Ministry of Love-style headline for the same video. We’ve written about Molotov Mitchell before, several times. He’s made videos since the beginning of the year defending the Ugandan “Kill the Gays” bill, which is all you really need to know. And again, Peter LaBarbera refers to his as a “biblical love,” which means that Peter is seriously DSM-IV, evil, or both.
In this creepy video, Molotov Mitchell talks about how he handles his “gay friends,” by telling them, with no supporting evidence whatsoever other than the fact that other people are brainwashed to believe the same things, that they are headed for a fiery hell.
Also, we find out that Mitchell is a garden variety bigot, who doesn’t feel the need to hold back from making fun of effeminate, “flaming homosexuals.”
SPOILER ALERT: At the end of the video, the “moral of the story” comes, because apparently the gay guy he’s talking about was particularly susceptible to becoming a victim for Mitchell, convinced to buy into self-loathing in service of a fundamentalist Christian worldview that has been summarily disproven, and moreover, is harmful to those who choose it as a lifestyle.

Anyone who defends the murder of gay people and reviles us by calling us names is guilty of multiple biblical sins and should really be more concerned about the eternal state of his own soul.
Just watched this video. Truly an insidious, vicious piece of propaganda from a man who claims he is not stupid. Yet he can’t interpret basic scientific research. I pity the gay person in contact with anything to do with this man.

He states that there is no proof of a gay gene, and that’s fine (for now), but I’m still waiting for one of them (homophobic fundies) to show me proof of their religious beliefs that there is in fact a “Hell”. Hopefully they won’t resort to the old: “The bible says so”. That is NOT proof. It’s just used as a scare tactic, and sadly it has worked on some people. I know it took me many years to free myself from that christian grasp.
Gay gene? Strawman argument. No one in decades has argued that there is a gay gene — but rather combinations of genes, hormones, and birth order.
I wonder if his gay “friends” consider him a “friend”. I would find it hard to be “friends” with someone who told me I’m going to Hell (partly because Hell doesn’t exist).
There is most certianly a lot of scientific literature about the genetic components of homosexuality and I can even point to a few key research. Not that Molotov Mitchell actual cares for scienc.

Mike, they stick with the “gay gene” line because they are so functionally retarded when it comes to simple biology that they know they’d get snowed under immediately if they even attempted to discuss the actual science.
Scientist will find the Gay Gene sooner than fundamentalists will find any direct quote from Christ against same-gender love.
It is a horrible, hate fuelled piece of filth – no surprise to see LaBarbera loves it – but is old news; this was in fact touted on PFOX’s website at the beginning of the year.
Note: there is not likely to be one single ‘gay gene’. It’s a complete misunderstanding of genetics. From the huge amount of evidence out there, supporting the proposition that sexual orientation is genetic and controlled by hormones, it seems there are several genes that determine whether someone orientates to males or females.
Crucially, it is also to do with the ‘epigenome’ too, as some genes have to be switched on, in the first place. This explains why the second identical twin is only more likely, not certain to be gay, if the other is.
Don;t forget that LaBarbera, Mitchell, Sprigg, Dobson, Wildmon, LaHaye and other nutcases are all creationists and therefore do not believe in genetics to begin with. Why they even refer to ‘genes’ is beyond me, since according to them, our very existence is thanks to Noah’s Ark.
Funny, he has so many thumbs down on this video it’s not even close. Was this put out by the same people that did that stupid DJ Dolce thing? They both have the same embarring trying really hard to be cool quality.
I still say Molotov is stylistically a poor man’s knock off of Penn and Teller.

How sad that the people aren’t listening. Here is a man who cares about the eternal life of someone who rejects him and Christ. Not only does he care about his eternal life, he cares about the time the other guy has remaining on earth, his health, his emotions, his total state of living and yet the HOST of this BLOG thinks “they” have the truth? Listen people, there are LOTS of Perceptions, Lots of opinions, but there is only one truth. The Creator of the world gave it to us and even died to show us and yet one person here says he’s waiting for proof. A recorded birth, life and death that changed the world and it’s history and future wasn’t and isn’t proof enough? Well, either people seek the truth, or they seek what tickles their ears. They seek what they want to hear, so they join up into social groups where SIN is Accepted and no one dare speak out or judge. I commend this man for having the love in his heart to stand up for what is TURTH and not be bowled over or sucumed to ridicule and embarrassment. Instead he loved the guy enough to stand up and be honest. I hope the HOST of this blog will one day come to know the TRUTH.
Peg, the malcontent, miseducated moron who made the videos has no proof of the existence of an eternal life, or a “Christ” or any other deity. Secular, scientific history makes no clear mention that a person named Jesus of Nazareth was born to a teenage girl named Mary in Bethlehem at the turn of the last millennium.
And the only reason the world changed was because Christianity (catholicism/eastern orthodox) took over the Roman Empire and laid penalties on those not Christian.
