Today, Frank Rich took on the evil Koch brothers, who essentially control the Tea Party. If the Democrats cannot exploit this information to destroy the so-called Tea Party, they are incompetent and deserve to lose. Really, this should be easy. I hope the Democrats have operatives that are tough enough to act and not allow this opportunity to slip away.

I’ve been pulling my hair out over the feckless, wishy-washy, ‘fighting spirit’ of the Democrats for years now; and the more insane and outrageous the wingnuts get over Obama and his administration, the more they seem to cower. I just don’t get it!! I still think they have a political version of the battered wife syndrome from being constantly beaten down during the 8 years of the grotesque bush administration.
God help us if they get control of congress back in 2011. They are already planning to gridlock everything the Dems want to do with endless subpoenas and other stall tactics. I heard they are planning another ‘rally’ in October for the ‘birthers’ to challenge the legitimacy of Obama’s presidency. It will probably get as much coverage, if not more, than the king of the hucksters Glen Beck just had.
The Dems need to put Ed Schultz in charge of *everything*. At least he has a backbone and a nice big loud mouth!
Gary, I totally agree. Ed Schultz is great. He has enough outrage & fire to make up for a lot of the weak-kneed Dems.
