Earlier this week, a panicked anti-gay Pacific Justice Institute [sic] went to court in California to try to force Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and AG Jerry Brown to defend the unconstitutional Proposition 8.
Today, the California Court of Appeals, Third Circuit, denied their case.
This is why they don’t like courts, y’all. Religious bigotry and bias just don’t cut it against facts, evidence and the laws of a secular nation.

Wow! They just seem to be striking out all over the place these days, don’t they? Now I am hoping that they will strike out with the SCOTUS. THAT would be one hell of a home run for us, wouldn’t it?

Religious bigots read:Dominionists are a drain on taxpayers with their crusades. I’m sure the citizens of California did not want to foot the bill for this elaborate re-RE-trial of something that has already been deemed UNCONSTITUTIONAL! This is a DOMINIONIST plot…to clog the courts time and taxpayers money with old antiquated ideologies. Nothing more…nothing less. it is what it is.

Right wing “panic and paranoia” are funny to watch–although not really that funny when you realize how dangerous they are. Religious bigots are afraid that gays might get married or that kids might think being gay is okay. It’s all bullshit paranoia that has nothing to do with anyone’s actual well being. They are petrified that someone, somewhere might be having fun they don’t approve of. I’m sick of the imaginary “harms”–there is no harm in gay people being able to marry. None.
