Focus on the Family is having a hard time spinning this one.
They attempt to mislead their readers in the headline:
LifeWay Survey: Millennials Divided Over Same-Sex Marriage
But then you get to the actual text:
LifeWay Research released its latest survey on Millennials – Americans born between 1980 and 1991 –and found that 61 percent either strongly agreed or somewhat agreed with same-sex marriage.
That’s a landslide majority, especially coming from a Christian polling company. And those numbers are only going to grow.
Sorry, Focus on the Family. You’ve lost this war. I hope you can find something to do in a few years when the entire American population is polling at 61% and better.

anytime it’s so clearly to the positive on our end, they use the “divided” line. That’s true with any unhappy right wing media outlets. So you get the impression that they’re warring with each other, 50/50, and that “hopefully” their side will win out.
Wrong. THIS millenial got exposed to gay rights activism in her high school in 1999, more than 10 years ago.
Yeah – when a Christian polling company is finding this…Focus on the family better go back to advice on spanking kids. The whole gay boogie man thing isn’t going to last.
“Divided” LOL….yeah, they’re divided alright: 2 to 1…that last line about FOTF losing this war is so refreshing to read and exciting because it’s true. It reminds me of a modification to that humpty dumpty fairy tale: All of their bible verses and all of their Amens couldn’t help the religious right win again.
