This is a sweet video from Dan Savage and his husband, Terry, about their lives, about growing up, raising a family, and all of that, and inside is also a great message for any readers we might have who are still in high school, or still have problems with their families, or whatever else: It Gets Better.
This is a true statement. It does indeed get better.
Persevere to grow, learn, discover and find yourself, then find someone to love, grow with, share with, til death you do part…

Great video and message. There was a documentary when I was young that showed on television about gay people. I think seeing adult gay people who were living happy, productive lives saved my life. When you’re in high school–especially a small, conservative town like I grew up in–it’s hard not to think it will always be like that when you have no examples. A wonderful message.
Also, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen Terry before. He is gorgeous.
