I hope the White House will take the next logical step and demand that Congress pass the Safe Schools Improvement Act, which has been imprisoned in a House committee for almost 18 months.
And why would the WH do that. We just need to realize we have been taken by this administration. They do not want to spent any political capital on GLBT issues plain and simple. Obama refused to even make one phone call to get the Defense Authorization bill passed. Why should we believe he’d do anything more.
