During the utterly creepy time when Michigan Assistant Attorney General was stalking openly gay University of Michigan student Chris Armstrong, Armstrong understandably petitioned for a restraining order against him, and the university followed suit by banning Shirvell from the campus.
Armstrong has now dropped the petition for a restraining order, and of course, Shirvell is chomping at the bit to get back onto that campus:
Now that University of Michigan student Chris Armstrong has dropped his restraining order request against Michigan Assistant Attorney General Andrew Shirvell, Shirvell’s attorney has threatened to sue the school if it does not lift Shirvell’s ban from campus.
The University of Michigan had banned Shirvell after he repeatedly harassed Armstrong on campus and on his blog for being gay. Shirvell wrote on his blog that Armstrong, who is student body president, has a “radical homosexual agenda.”

Juliana Keeping of AnnArbor.com reports that Shirvell’s attorney Philip Thomas says that now that the request has been dropped the school’s ban should be as well: “In the matter concerning the appeal of the trespass, we want that withdrawn. He should be able to go onto that campus for whatever reason. It’s legal as long as what he’s doing is legal, and he’s not threatening in any way.”
Shirvell still gives me the heebie jeebies.
i sure wouldn’t want him on my kids’ college campus. someone like that is a crime looking for a place to happen.
This a*****e is pissed off just because he couldn’t get a hot date with Armstrong.
To Shirvell: If you wanted to get a hot date, don’t limit yourself and obcess yourself with openly gay college guys. There are plenty of fish in the bathhouse whom you could date.
To Armstrong: You see what happens when you didn’t let this douchebag buy you a drink at the gay bar? If it smells like roofies in your drink, pretend to drink it and empty it out in a concealed trashcan.
This guy is a creep and probably am big-time closet case. What a sicko. He needs a serious team of shrinks to help him with his fixations and obsessions.
there should be 24/7 vigils protesting outside HIS home, outside his work, following this sick nutbag wherever he goes – and ther should be a petition to have him ejected from his workplace. he is a dangerous lunatic that makes randall terry look sane.
Shirvell needs to really examine his motives. As a ‘christian’ – why is ‘homosexuality’ his biggest issue? Surely there are more important ‘christian’ virtues he could obsess about………
