This is progress! Of course, I got the news from some Catholic site that’s bellyaching about it:
“When Catholic students enroll at Catholic universities, their faith should be strengthened,” said TFP Student Action director John Ritchie in a statement posted on the group’s website. “But unfortunately, their faith is often weakened by the presence of pro-homosexual clubs and immoral events.”
“Just like abortion, homosexual vice is part of the culture of death,” said Ritchie. “It should be opposed, not promoted.”
“The homosexual movement is careful to advance slowly to avoid pushback. ‘Dialogue,’ ‘tolerance’ and ‘diversity’ are just tools to reach a final stage: sexual anarchy,” he said. “When you drop a frog into boiling water, it jumps right out. But when you put the same frog in lukewarm water and increase the temperature slowly, the frog cooks to death without reacting. So, we need to speak up in charity and truth before it’s too late.”
Boo hoo, and also, everything you say is a lie.
Catholic schools: Getting safer for LGBT students every day.

Maybe the gay clubs picked the stripping acrobats for the Pope’s amusement in that video we just posted?
I have a feeling Ratzi picked that for special, just for himself. Either that or the entire college of Cardinals got together and got it for him, engaging in that age-old tradition of buying Christmas gifts for people simply because you also want them.
Um, culture of death? Homosexuals are part of a culture of death? I know I was celebrating death at the last homo party I was at!
“When you drop a frog into boiling water, it jumps right out. But when you put the same frog in lukewarm water and increase the temperature slowly, the frog cooks to death without reacting.”
Isn’t that similar to how people become religious nuts? Very young children are started out gently with Christmas presents, fun, and nice stories of Santa Claus (God on training wheels). Then, as they are growing up they are slowly indoctrinated with more and more of the nasty scary ugly stuff. And by the time they are adults, many of them will be full-fledged religious nuts who have had their ability to think and reason put to death.
That’s also why people can become so confident that their own religion is true while instantly dismissing all the other religions as preposterous.
“culture of death”
Says a guy who follows a religion that revolves entirely around the claim that a guy was tortured and killed, and the only reason for believing is the threat that something horrible will happen to you after you’re dead, and that this life is useless and misery compared to the glory that will follow when you’re dead.
Awful lot of focus on death, there.

touche, Makyui, touche! and i could not agree more.
I wonder if this culture of death stuff goes back to Paul Cameron. I read an article by him in the Human Life Review in 1978 in which he asserted that “Homosexuality is associated with personal lethality.” The magazine had a lot of articles about abortion, euthanasia and homosexuality. Of course he did not address the personal lethality of Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Idi Amin, Pol Pot and others. His assertions and research were obviously absurd, but his ideas caught with people who didn’t like gay people.
I assume the ‘culture of death’ crap is because most of us don’t produce children (we only adopt the ones that most heteros don’t want). HEELLLLOOOOO, how many kids/families does the roman catholic hierarchy produce? (Not counting the Renaissance popes of course).
