Actually Nicole, the fact that MOST of us glbt people who grow up in toxic shame saturated environment created by people like you and yours and STILL we go on to live happy, productive, successful lives in all walks of life and professions shows the resilience and strength of the human psyche, *especially* lgbt youth. I submit, that if the narcissistic football ‘stars’ and popular ‘pretty girls’ had to spend one day in high school (or middle school) and experience what many of us gays had to go through for years, their flimsy egos would cause them to run home and lie on their bedroom floors crying in the fetal position. Hate, bigotry and willful IGNORANCE are the real ‘mental problems’!

18. My heart goes out to Ms. Walsh…she has BEAUTIFUL children and her pain takes my breath away on this unnecessary and tragic loss of Seth.

    And NICOLE, if you’re reading my post: please answer something for me.

    Most of those who keep asserting that homosexuality is caused by some early sexual abuse, or lack of strong gender specific parents.
    That is to say, that they are convinced that NURTURE had something to do with the cause of homosexuality.

    Yet, deny and deny and deny…that being called a threat to everything ‘normal’ and in an environment SO hostile, that death is preferable to even CHILDREN, you don’t think chronic discrimination and systemic bigotry doesn’t carry it’s own set of damage to the well being of gay people?

    Apparently, you’ve never REALLY listened to someone of OTHER maligned groups that know the difference.

    Nicole, your comment was unconscionable in the face of the pain of the Walshes. And especially young Seth.

    You had each and every response coming to you.
