It turns out that Emily Kesselman is multi-talented. Many of us know her as an expert writer on Ex-Gay Watch. But, it turns out that she has quite the talent for drawing cartoons. She has a website, “Places You Find Cats”, where she draws the cute little critters in the darnedest places.

Wayne Besen is the Founding Executive Director of Truth Wins Out and author of “Anything But Straight: Unmasking the Scandals and Lies Behind the Ex-Gay Myth” (Haworth, 2003). In 2010, Besen was awarded the “Visionary Award” at the Out Music Awards for organizing the American Prayer Hour, an event which shined a spotlight on the role American evangelicals played in the introduction of Uganda’s Anti-Homosexuality Bill.

I think it’s a little ironic that after 5 years of art school and a lifetime of creating comics and fine art that the thing that gives me the greatest attention is also the simplest thing I’ve ever produced. Isn’t that always the way.
