Of course. Tom Minnery says they won’t pull out this year because somebody has to be around to counteract the gayness, but just you wait, maybe they will come back next year, maybe they won’t, stomp stomp stomp:
Colorado-based Focus on the Family is considering ending its sponsorship of a national conservative political action rally because of the involvement of a gay conservative group.
The lobbying arm of Focus on Family, CitizenLink, is a co-sponsor of the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, D.C., next month.
CitizenLink senior vice president Tom Minnery told The Gazette that the group is participating partly to help offset the influence of the gay group, GOProud. But he says this may be the last year it’s a sponsor.
These social conservative groups are acting like jilted lovers, don’t you think?

Bravo! I welcome this and many more boycotts of CPAC by social conservative groups. I hope more of these zealots leave the Republican Party. This will be nothing but a much needed improvement for the Party. The narrow focus of social conservatives on abortion, gay rights, and establishing a Christian Theocracy has brought down and practically destroyed what was once considered the respectable opposition. Because of their hardwork and determination, the Republican Party has become the laughing stock of liberals, independents, and moderate Republicans (not to mention even conservatives in foreign countries). Once the right-wing nutjobs exit the political stage, then maybe our elected officials can get back to the important issues, like running the government for the benefit of the whole country and not just the Party.
These so-called conservatives are such a bunch of immature children! This is just laughable.
