There are people in this country who think that Sarah Palin is, like, just as important as Martin Luther King, Jr. Actually, the people who think that don’t tend to really like Martin Luther King, Jr., but they know they’ll never win the battle of ideas on that front, so they just try to co-opt his legacy for their own purposes.
Anyway, it’s rainy where I am. Laugh!

Just like Palin, they are not ready for prime time.
Couldn’t Christopher Guest do a mockumentary using these folks?
Last night, I had an experience of just how extreme and whacko wingnuts can be. My neighbor across the street is a total wingnut republican. He even has a bumper sticker on his car that says, “Don’t blame me, I voted for Palin”, declaring to the world his diminutive IQ.
Due to the snow banks, my bf parked his car across the street in an open spot. He came out and started yelling at him that he had paid to have that spot plowed and it was reserved for his cars. My bf told him that it was public street and he had a right to park anywhere he wanted on it and if he had a problem with the snow, he should call the township and complain about the poor plowing job. After a few more words back and forth, the wingnut said to him, “you’re probably one of those guys who voted for Obama”! Say what?! If I got into an argument with a total stranger over a parking spot (or anything else), the last thing I would think of would be how they vote.
This clown also said that ‘if i were a younger guy I’d come out there and put you in the hospital’. (Don’t most wingnuts solve their problems with guns?!) My bf was in the Army for many years and knows how to kill with his bare hands–but I digress.
In order to avoid any further trouble and maybe getting his car keyed, my bf did move his car farther down the street.
This is a perfect example of what right wing hate radio and TV produces.
ps..I had an Obama sign on my lawn in 08, I plan on an even bigger one next with it directly facing his front door.
