Newsflash: Laurie Higgins of the hate group known as the Illinois Family Institute and Peter LaBarbera of the hate group known as Americans for Truth About Homosexuality are whining about the supposed victimization of some fundamentalist couple who owns a bed and breakfast, but yet wants an exception to allow them to discriminate against gay people, due to their deeply cherished bigotry. Civil Unions are now legal in the state of Illinois, and as the B & B is a public accomodation, they’re really not supposed to be discriminating against classes of people.
I could go to the trouble of excerpting and criticizing, but I’m not in the mood to critique a fundamentalist Mad Lib right now.

Dear Evan
You are wise not to waste your time on these bigots. They are mouldy old stones on the bed of a fast flowing river of bright shining water, and they and their ilk are being eroded and will soon be washed away by the tide of progress and enlightenment.
Have faith, LGBTQ citizens, a change is gonna come and the times they are a-changin’ – for the better!
xx
Indeed. ;)
Sometimes I’m in the mood to deconstruct them line by line, but sometimes it’s like geez, they never say anything new.
Higgens is loathesome and LaBarbera’s a clown. How much more detail do you need to add?
I love how the Waldner family are all wearing white shirts. So it’s easier for the slower readers can tell how innocent and Godly they are.
@ emma – And white shirts won’t show through the robes!
Evan and Wayne, you probably know this already, but on Tuesday night (I think it is) OWN (Oprah’s tv channel) is having a Lisa Ling show on ‘ex-gays’ (shame on oprah). On the commercial they did have some practicing gay Christians defending their position, but from the screaming queen ‘ex-gays’ I DID see on their, I don’t think I can stomach watching it. If Oprah were really fair, they should have had Wayne on, if they could find all these other clowns that we all know and don’t love, they surely could have found W and this website.
