I’ve only seen the Glee program once, because I am a bad gay and my card is going to be revoked, but Kathy Griffin guest-starred last night, playing a Sarah Palin/Christine O’Donnell anti-gay teabaggerista, or whatever the correct term is. Enjoy!
Oh, and also some boys kissed, on the Glee program last night.
Awwwww.

I just wanted to point out that in the kiss scene, the squeeze bottle atop the desk either does or should contain lube.
In their quiet, cheesy, soap opera ways, both “Glee” and “Degrassi” may have done as much to educate the new generation of straight and gay kids about LGBT lives as did “Word is Out” back in the day (the one with the dinosaurs, when we were watching the pyramids being built, on that afternoon when God got the idea for ‘dirt’).
Reed mentioned “Word is Out.” I just watched it two days ago (Netflix DVD). It’s been restored/reissued and the DVD has new “bonus” interviews with some of those originally interviewed back in 1977, and sadly, news about the deaths of a number of others.
I’m one of the dinosaurs from “back in the day” (I “came out” in 1969).
I think many younger people today would benefit by seeing it. It would help them place their perception of where we are today in the context of where we’ve been.
Anyway, back on topic: I’m so annoyed. I set the machine to record Glee last night, and I must have screwed up, because it’s not there. I’m hoping I can watch it on Fox’s website. If not, does anyone know of another source?
Richard: It’s available on Amazon Video On Demand for .99 (and downloading to my Tivo as we speak).
Lucky Kurt!
Richard, you can watch the episode for free on Hulu TV (Online), they have the past 5 episodes…limited ad interuptions (but nothing like you have to sit through on live TV!)
Can also subscribe for the season or buy individual episodes on iTunes, but more expensive than alternatives posted above.
I never used to watch glee until a little gay birdy who became a very dear friend of mine encouraged me to. He didn’t mention it also stars Jane Lynch who is one of my favorite lesbians after Stephanie Miller. I was hooked.
Thanks to everyone for their suggestions on how I can see this episode!!! My partner and are going to watch it tonight (yes, he’s hooked too).
