Alan Chambers speaks with CBS News Tech Talk:
Chambers: We’re being portrayed as group of people making judgments on peoples’ lives whereas I and thousands of others like me, who experienced same-sex attraction, are trying to live out our lives through the filter of our faith, not through the filter of our sexuality…
…he said, making a judgment not just on gay people (they live their lives through the filter of their sexuality), but also on gay Christians (they place a higher value on sex then they do their faith). Yes, yes…it’s all about sex with homosexuals, isn’t it, Alan.
You manipulated Cooper so deftly there. I’m impressed. That what years of talking parents into throwing their gay kids into your soul grinder has done for you?

“Blah blah…trying to live out our lives through the filter of our faith, not through the filter of our sexuality…”
Bull. Their entire life is focused on sexuality and sex–theirs and everyone else’s. They’re pathologically obsessed with sex, and their need to control it. Religion is just the tool they use to achieve that goal.
Alan said, “. . . I and thousands of others like me, who experienced same-sex attraction, are trying to live out our lives through the filter of our faith, not through the filter of our sexuality . . .”
That doesn’t ring true, Alan. You are all about homosexuality. Your entire professional life revolves around homosexuality. Your livelihood depends on homosexuality. It seems fair to say that your marriage is all about NOT being homosexual. Your faith may play a role in your life, but you are consumed by homosexuality. You can’t stop thinking about homosexuality, Alan.
First thing I saw in Alan’s commentary was his use of the past tense “experienced” when describing his same-sex attraction. Wrong, big time. It should be “experience” because it is painfully obvious that he hasn’t left any of those feelings behind. He has talked ad nauseum about the “daily struggle” and how with the Lord’s help he can make it through another day of lying about this sham conversion.
My answer is always in the same vein: Live your lives through a coffee filter if you want and mind your own business. Believe it or not, without your constant “loving” attention to our sexual orientation, we’ll gladly mind our business, too.
Frankly, why don’t you get a real job? I know this one pays well or you wouldn’t be doing it. There are so many misguided Christian pockets to pick. What a douche bag.
