A story in the news this week proves once again what we’ve been saying for years. Liberals want to silence pro-family conservatives like you and me. In a stunning decision, Apple withered under pressure from homosexual activists and censored an application that offers help to people struggling with homosexuality. The app for ex-gays was created by Exodus International–and before this week, it had a 4+ rating from the iTunes store. Exodus is another victim of the growing campaign to silence Christianity in America. As a reader of my emails, you know that the Southern Poverty Law Center falsely labeled FRC a “hate group” for standing for biblical norms regarding sexuality. Liberal activists use this label and demand that media outlets censor FRC staff and research.
We are honored to serve on these frontlines, but we need your help. Please help us stand for marriage and healthy human sexuality with your gift today.
Apple’s censorship has nothing to do with “tolerance.” This is about silencing anything and anyone who challenges homosexuality. Americans need to wake up and realize that religious liberty is heading in the same direction as Exodus’s app-extinction! In this environment, it doesn’t matter what the facts are. If they contradict the homosexual agenda, the Left will do everything it can to muzzle them. The radical Left demands that we hand over control of our nation, our families, our children, and our freedoms to them. They demand big government intervention in every area of life. They rewrite history to hide our Christian heritage. To all of this, Family Research Council says, “No Surrender!”
You hear that, you guys? They are being SILENCED by us! They are shouting through their loudspeakers that they are being SILENCED! Also, send money!

Shhhhhhhhh!
You’ll wake the baby.
Pointing out fraud is not “silencing” anyone. It’s a loving act meant to save others from becoming victims of fraud. When radical anti-gay activists try to redefine fraud as some sort of “faith,” they insult our Lord.
aw hell. they stopped sending me their email blasts. lol
Jesus, for a minute there I was almost ready to write them a check!
I can’t preach my opinions about atheism and gay rights in church! I’m being silenced! Send me money!!!!
I love their quote: “Liberals want to silence pro-family conservatives like you and me.”
This coming from people who have traditionally crusaded against even mentioning, for example, gay people “in public schools.”
They did it in Massachusetts, decrying the fact that same-sex marriage is allegedly being “taught” in the public schools.
They just did it a few days ago when a student was sent home from a Louisiana-based public school for wearing a pro-gay t-shirt.
And now they whine about being “silenced?” Give me a break. Their so-called “reasoning” sounds like something that could only come from fundamentalists. Oh, wait. That’s precisely where it’s coming from.
They don’t understand what we know as being obvious: gay people who embrace the “ex-gay” message often lead lives of shame, unending lies, constant pain and the absence of fulfilling relationships. Entire lives are ruined by the “ex-gay” message.
I just popped over to the AFA website. Why is it that they are boycotting Home Depot for supporting gays and lesbians and that’s ok but our petition to Apple is attacking Christianity?
Because God ordained that Super Christians are entitled to special rights, and our obligation is to respect that.
I don’t want to silence pro family, I’m pro family. I want to silence pro moron, and it’s happening.
Now pass the chips please, this movie gets better every day.
No persona suits an oppressor better than the mimicry of victimization. [And wrapped in the flag at no extra charge]. Listening to this tired rhetoric might be frustrating–if the younger generation were at all interested in assuming the mantle of ignorance. Trying to cure people of their sexuality will probably be about as successful as explaining to one of the saved that it’s a little unusual to have conversations with a burning bush. Maybe it’s best if we get back to the whole love and forgiveness thing and we’ll let the big guy decide the rest.
“As a reader of my emails, you know that the Southern Poverty Law Center falsely labeled FRC a “hate group” for standing for biblical norms regarding sexuality.”
Funny, I’m pretty sure some of their neighbors on the SPLC list are labeled as hate groups for standing for biblical norms regarding race, too.
I wonder why FRC isn’t mentioning that…
I have to laugh at their sense of indignation, righteous though it be. The leaders/spokesmen, drum bangers of these groups are such scum-sucking, bottom-feeders. YES, it’s about money; it’s always about money! What would they be doing if Christians just said, “So what? Let ‘em be.” If they didn’t have a devil to fight, who the f**k would bother sending money? Keep the troops hoppin’ mad and plead for them to dip into their wallets, the rent and the car payment are due.
Hey you Christian loud-mouthed leaders, get yourselves some REAL jobs. Get in the trenches for a change and earn your bread the way real people do, you dirtbags.
The arrogance is stunning with these people. They are the ones hysterically screaming “persecution” while they lie and use any other underhanded tactic they can think up to marginalise us, make us invisible and deny us rights. I would say unbelievable but there appears to be an unpleasant tendency amonst Xtian fundamentalists to claim “persecution” at every chance.
