This is an interesting clip, discussing gay teachers’ experiences of being out in the classroom. Contrary to Religious Right whining about imposing a “lifestyle” on anyone, it’s exactly as the first teacher says: mentioning his partner has nothing to do with his sexuality, but has to do with sharing his life, as teachers often do when they make a connection with the students.

I am in favor of laws against inciting to discrimination.
Looks like we are on the road to a persons “sexuality” is not an issue.
It really shouldn’t matter what a persons “sexuality” is.
The mind set that “everyone is or should be ‘straight’” is a missconception in intself.
We are a world of many cultures and customs all stemming from the “people of the world” It seems that our goal as living being should be to interact with eachother in the same basis of “love” that we would choose to be interacted with…. Cm’on people,lets love!
