Here’s a great video from former NOM spokesperson Louis Marinelli, who recently came out as a supporter of marriage equality. In it, he encourages people to get out to the Bronx on May 15 to counter the message of hate being spread by NOM and New York bigot senator Ruben Diaz. My favorite part is about two thirds of the way through when he notes that we don’t have to change Brian Brown’s heart on this. Why? ”He’s from Connecticut.” And then Louis just sits there and lets the meaning sink in.
Kind of brutal, and quite funny.

This man is a quintessentially-decent human being. I think any person who changes their views when they see that they are hurting people truly is. Good for him.
Thank you, Louis! This is powerful evidence that it is possible to leave homophobia; no one is born that way. God bless you, Louis!
