In a pretty much unprecedented move by any major retailer in the world, Old Navy is releasing a line of gay pride t-shirts this summer. The designs, available in men’s, women’s and children’s, will be sold in all 1,035 Old Navy locations. Which means of course that teens, moms and families across the country will encounter the shirts in malls, practically the modern equivalent of the town square.
Ten percent of proceeds from the Old Navy Pride line will be donated to Dan Savage and Terry Miller’s It Gets Better Project.
Very nice to see such a visible company taking a major stand for the very mainstream idea of supporting ALL our kids. Here’s another one:
And since you’re going to need lots of t-shirts this summer, and you can’t go get that Old Navy t-shirt right now ANYWAY, because you are busy, why don’t you go ahead and pick up one of TWO’s sexy “Thank God You Can’t Pray Away the Gay” t-shirts right now? Proceeds go to continue our multi-faceted work here at TWO, and also, it is a very cute t-shirt! Hint: Click on the “right now,” just above.

just wait for the AFA to announce a boycott of old navy, and accusations of indoctrination to homosexuality.
Don’t worry Adam, since we know Porno Petey breathlessly reads everything Evan and Wayne post here, it should be anytime now.
Porno Pete is probably at the tubs, so we will have to wait to he leaves the steam room and returns to his computer.
That probably explains why he once again missed the Dinah Shore weekend the only “Gay event”
he remains strangely quiet on.

Bravo for you. Someone had to lead the way. I will spend my money at Old Navy. One step a time we can change the world. :)
This is a huge step forward…Go Old Navy…I’m sold..!!! Luv it Luv it..
I use to never buy ANYTHING at old navy, but with their great new shirts I will gladly shop there for my clothes!!!!
I will for sure buy these shirt. This is a huge step forward
This is such a major step for a brand to take. I love it! The kids and I will be sporting these t-shirts in support of the people we love!!
Hurray…….I Cant Wait!!!! go “Old Navy”
Gay pride or not is a personal choice. What you go around wearing on your shirt is a personal choice. When you invoke religious entities into your choice in public on controversial topics, I think you’ve gone to far.
I don’t purchase anything at Old Navy because the quality is crap, and this just solidifies my decision!

I think I will not be teaching my children to support Gays….WOW this world is corrupting our young people to think this is OK. Well it is not and it is not ok to be gay, half of these kids are turning gay because you cant watch tv or a movie without seeing it now. So it is turning into a cool thing and making them believe oh I don’t fit in bc I am gay and bc I dress different I am gay well old navy I will not be buying your product ever again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Oh and now we can’t even shop without it being crammed down our throat but we can’t let our children pray in school……BULL CRAP
Emily Norwood, you are a douche. What about your religious propaganda that gets shoved down our eyes, ears, and all over! If u dont like it, dont buy it. And I Hardly doubt old navys stocks will be hurt from some inbred bible thumping hypocrite not shopping there anymore. ALL THE GAYS will make up for your dollars. Mwah!
Emily, I feel sorry for your children, if you have any, if they end up being gay. You won’t stop them from being gay — that’s part of them — but you could be the mama who makes her kids want to kill themselves. Lots of moms like you exist. It’s sad.

@Emily and every other close minded person out their – You are totally right about everything! When I went to Old Navy today I was straight, but after seeing those new pride shirts they are selling… it turned me! I ended up buying one of each and some fabulous short shorts to match! So now totally gay and it’s all Old Navy’s fault.
Emily, funny. My mom certainly didn’t teach me to support gays–it didn’t make me straight. She’s changed over time, but she was a bigot just like you for many years. Luckily, some day, your children will be able to think for themselves. Unfortunately for you, they’ll think you were a bigot.
