This is the pink-shirted David Fowler, head of the cutely named Family Action Council of Tennessee [FACTn] [sic], standing on a playground and talking with his hands a hell of a lot, and gloating about the fact that his organization, a wang of the national hate group known as the Family Research Council, was able to pressure intellectually dead Tennessee legislators into passing a big government bill disallowing Tennessee cities from setting their own nondiscrimination policies, and instead lording their own goat-romancing “pro-family” ways over all of us.
I really have nothing to say about this, I’m just posting the video.

Pointing out that a man is wearing a pink shirt, “fey”, “acting SOOO like a man” aren’t we just feeding into the very stereotypes of masculinity that we are also trying to fight? Just sayin’!
Alonzo, I think the point was that this guy thinks of himself as a “real man”, which he defines as anti-gay, but doesn’t quite fit the masculine stereotypes himself.
Actually, I like pink. I don’t like homophobic fuckwits though.
Ironically, these right wing fundagelicals would be more than happy to pressure nationally prominent businesses, if they felt that THEIR political agenda was somehow being disregarded. They are such hypocrites. And bullies. To them them, the end justifies the means, and lying & distorting the truth for their imagined greater good (“preserving the ‘family’ “) are just part & parcel of doing “god’s will on earth”.
